Well Child Visits
Well Child Visits ScheduleTo keep your children healthy, it is important to bring them in for regular checkups. We recommend that you call our office 2 week(s) in advance so you may choose the date that best fits your needs.
On-Call Providers
DR. GRAHAM IS ON CALL.
Call the main office number, and our answering service will page the doctor to call you back. Please save routine questions (mild illness, appointments, prescription refills) for the morning. You may be assessed a $25 fee for utilizing this service.
We encourage you to refer to our website as needed. There you can find information about mild illnesses, medication dosing and office hours.
Scheduling
We are accepting new patients. Same day appointments are available. Please call the office number or log into the Patient Portal to schedule an appointment.
To help provide timely service to our patients, we prefer to schedule all visits. If you are later than 15 minutes for your appointment, we will try to work you back into the schedule. Out of courtesy to our other patients, we may be forced to ask you to reschedule your appointment.
Vaccine Policy
- We firmly believe in the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent serious illness and to save lives.
- We firmly believe in the safety of our vaccines.
- We firmly believe that all children and young adults should receive all of the recommended vaccines according to the schedule published by the American Academy of Pediatrics(AAP).
- We firmly believe, based on all available literature, evidence, and current studies, that vaccines do not cause autism or other developmental disabilities.
- We firmly believe that vaccinating children and young adults may be the single most important health promoting intervention we perform as health care providers, and that you can support as parents/caregivers.
The recommended vaccines and the schedule of administration are the results of years and years of scientific study and data-gathering on millions of children by thousands of our brightest scientists and physicians.
Furthermore, even delaying or “breaking up the vaccines” to give one or two at a time over additional visits goes against expert recommendations, is not supported by any scientific data, can lead to unnecessary delays and errors, and can put your child, other children, and adults at risk for serious illness (or even death). It is therefore against our medical advice as professionals at Kids Cove Pediatrics.
Dr. Graham and Kids Cove Pediatrics feel strongly that vaccinating children on schedule with currently available vaccines is absolutely the right thing to do for all children and young adults. We are more than willing to discuss any questions you may have about vaccines, but do require that all patients adhere to the vaccination schedule endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics(AAP), to include HPV and meningitis vaccination.
Financial Policy
Kids Cove Pediatrics participates with most insurance plans. Each insurance policy is different and it is therefore impossible for us to know what are your particular benefits may be. Therefore, it is important to contact your insurance company if you have any questions regarding your benefits and for you to know what your payment obligations will be at the time of service.
COPAYMENTS AND DEDUCTIBLES
Depending on your insurance policy, a copayment and/or deductible may be required at the time of service. These payments are expected to be made at the time of service. Payment may be made in cash, by check or by card. We also accept Health Savings Account (HSA) cards for payment.
Please note that the copayment is a contractual requirement from the insurance company and cannot be written off by the clinic. If you participate in a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) and have not yet paid your deductible in full, it is likely that any non-preventive services will require payment at the time those services are rendered. We are happy to discuss arrangements for payment by installment if you need to do so.
Please ensure that if you are unable to bring your child in yourself, whoever brings the child in is prepared to make all payments.
CREDIT CARD ON FILE [I] (CREDIT CARD ON FILE POLICY)
In order to make sure that we can collect your portion of the bill once your insurance company processes the claim, we require that a valid credit card be kept on file with the practice. Your card will only be charged the outstanding amount that your insurance company determines to be ‘patient responsibility’, as spelled out in your Explanation Of Benefits (EOB). Once your card is charged, a receipt will be sent to you by email.
If you would like to make arrangements to pay the amount by installments, please notify the office in advance.
PATIENTS WITHOUT INSURANCE COVERAGE
We are happy to work with families that prefer to pay directly for services or do not have insurance. For such patients, a time of service discount will be applied to the bill if settled in full on the day of service. This discount does not apply after the day of the visit.
ADMINISTRATIVE FEE [I]
At Kids Cove Pediatrics, coordination of care is central to making sure that children get good quality healthcare. This means several hours are spent providing services that insurance does not pay for. Some of these services include processing various administrative requests, handling refill requests outside of office visits, providing after hours calls to parents, performing phone consultation with other pediatric specialists, securing medical records from other providers, providing a patient portal and filling any forms needed for school or camp ect. No-Show
Missing an appointment without giving prior notice to the practice deprives other patients of the chance to take a slot that opens up. We require notice of at least 1 business day for all cancellations. Failure to notify the clinic in a timely manner will result in a no show fee of $25. Repeated no-shows will result in the family being advised to transfer care out of the practice.
Divorced/Separated Parents and Custodial Arrangements
Kids Cove Pediatrics does not get involved in disputes between divorced, separated or custodial parenting arrangements regarding financial responsibility for their child's medical expenses. By signing as guarantor below, you agree to be financially responsible for the care we provide to your child, regardless of whether a divorce decree, custodial or other arrangement places that obligation on your former spouse or the child’s other parent. We will be happy to provide receipts for paid medical bills for you as requested.

Notice of Program Accessibility Policy
SECTION 504 Notice Of Program Accessibilty
ACCESS NOTICE
This provider and all of its programs and activities are accessible to and usable by disabled persons, including persons with impaired hearing and vision. Access features include:
- Convenient off-street parking designated specifically for disables persons.
- Curb cuts and ramps between parking areas and buildings.
- Level access into first floor level (single level facility)
- Fully accessible offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, public waiting areas, and patient treatment areas.
- A full range of assistive and communication aids provided to persons with impaired hearing, vision, speech, or manual skills, without additional charge for such aids.

Sensory Impairments Policy
Procedure For Communicating Information To Persons With Sensory Impairments
Kids Cove Pediatrics, PLLC will take such steps as are necessary to ensure that qualified persons with disabilities, including those with impaired sensory or speaking skills, receive effective notice concerning benefits or services or written material concerning waivers of rights or consent to treatment. All aids needed to provide this notice are provided without cost to the person being served.
For Persons With Hearing Impairments: Qualified sign-language interpreter for persons who are deaf/hearing impaired and who use sign-language as their primary means of communication, the following procedure has been developed and resources identified for obtaining the services of a qualified sign-language interpreter to communicate both verbal and written information:

These companies offer video conferencing through iPad or through their app. All staff at Kids Cove Pediatrics, PLLC may utilize these services at any time during operating hours.
For Persons With Visual Impairments: Reader/Staff will communicate the content of written materials concerning benefits, services, waivers of rights, and consent to treatment forms by reading them out loud to visually impaired persons.
For Persons With Speech Impairments: Writing materials and computers are available to facilitate communication concerning program services and benefits, waivers of rights, and consent to treatment forms.
